&lt;p&gt;JCAL is compiled with &lt;code&gt;--release 16&lt;/code&gt;, so it requires &lt;strong&gt;Java 16 or later&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;h3 id=&#34;is-jcal-available-on-maven-central&#34;&gt;Is JCAL available on Maven Central?&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Not yet. JCAL is currently published on the &lt;strong&gt;GitHub Maven Registry&lt;/strong&gt;. See
